Digital Trading Cards, Series 1: Fossils of New York

We are located in Ithaca, New York surrounded by fossiliferous Devonian bedrock that formed 385 million years ago. This year we have a variety of Devonian-related projects in the works, including our “NY Rocks!” exhibit in the Museum of the Earth (open through December 2023). In celebration of our “Year of the Devonian,” we are creating “digital trading cards” to highlight the diversity of fossils that have been found in New York State. Most of the cards will feature Devonian fossils, but we will throw in a few older and younger fossils as well.
We encourage you to download copies of these cards and share them on your own social media. Check back soon to find out what the next fossil will be! New cards will be posted and shared every week or so.
